Do you provide a W-9 form for US customers?
Prusa Research a.s. is a foreign entity and therefore is not registered with the IRS. We are based in Prague, Czech Republic (EU). Instead of a W-9, we can provide you with a completed W-8BEN-E form, which is sufficient to register Prusa Research as a vendor.

Is Prusa Research present in the US?
Yes, our colleagues Printed Solid will help you in education, government, and enterprise sales. You will be fully covered by our warranty and eligible for our 24/7 customer service when buying from them.
How do VAT and tax exemption work?
Purchase orders for B2B Customers registered in the EU are processed within the Intra-Community supply and are therefore billed without VAT. Furthermore, no VAT is included for customers outside the EU. However, customers outside of the EU are responsible for all duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees based on their country's laws.
What are the payment terms for purchase orders?
We accept Purchase Orders (POs) with Net 30 payment terms for approved schools, school districts, and libraries only.
How long does it take to get a price quote?
Our team is available every business day. We respond to inquiries based on our current workload, but no later than within three business days.
What are the payment terms?
The standard payment term is an upfront pre-payment. Based on an individual assessment, we can also approve payment upon delivery of the goods.
What payment methods can be used?
All our customers can use a variety of payment methods. We accept bank transfers, card payments, and a wide range of online payment options. For bank transfers, the payment details will be provided on the invoice.
For legislative reasons, we are unable to accept payments by check.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Once your order has been placed and processed, it will be handled according to our standard delivery times. If your order includes a 3D printer, it will be placed in the production queue at that time. A complete overview of current delivery times can be found HERE.
Do you offer educational discounts?
Based on an individual assessment, we can offer all educational institutions a discount on all series of our printers (with the exception of the Original Prusa MINI+ printer), enclosures, filaments, and spare parts.
What warranty do you offer?
The standard warranty for legal entities is 12 months. However, we also offer the option to purchase additional warranties for another 12 or 24 months.
