The Best Prints You Can Make at Homewith the CORE One+
Independent testing has repeatedly placed Prusa among the leaders in desktop print quality. The reason is visible in the finished object: clean surfaces, sharp detail, accurate fit and the same high standard from one print to the next.
Always Worth a closer look
Curves are smooth, edges are defined, and small details remain clear. You can even swap the nozzle to a smaller diameter to print even more detailed objects.
What You Design is What you Get
High dimensional accuracy means your custom enclosures for microcontrollers, OLED displays, and joints work perfectly on the first try. You get to spend your weekend wiring, coding, and building - not filing down plastic.
Tough, durable models
Perfect layer bonding ensures the functional brackets, hooks, and replacement parts you design will actually hold up to daily wear and tear. You get the confidence that your custom workshop solutions won't snap under pressure.
Print Complex Models Without Headaches
Crisp overhangs and flawless bridging mean you can download intricate CAD models and just hit print without drowning the part in support material.
Sleep Soundly During Overnight Prints
Rock-solid first-layer calibration means you can kick off a 24-hour print job before bed without the anxiety of waking up to a spaghetti monster.
The print volume is not a limit
You can easily produce massive cosplay props, life-size statues and more - even with the base CORE One+. It only takes a bit of glue and some patience to create massive models.
“The Prusa Core One: With an overall variance of just 0.18%, it’s the clear winner and produces some incredible prints.”

Fits on Your Desk
A 3D printer that does not bother you with sound
With its compact footprint, quiet fans, and fully enclosed steel frame, the CORE One+ sits comfortably on a study desk, a workshop workbench, or a craft table. It runs cleanly and quietly in the background while you study, design, or run your home business.
Safe for active households
The fully enclosed steel frame and latching door keep high temperatures securely out of reach of curious kids or pets. No matter which material you print, you can always keep the door closed.
Run long prints with confidence
Whether you are running a detailed biology model for a school science project or printing custom templates for your creative Etsy shop, our unique Power Panic saves your exact progress during sudden outages.
Worry‑free printing
No need to babysit the machine. The printer calibrates everything, and smart sensors pause operations and alert your phone in case of a problem.
Clean air for living spaces
Standard PLA and PETG plastics are odorless and simple to print. For printing advanced engineering materials directly inside a living area, the optional filtration system traps ultra-fine particles and odors.
Years ago, 3D printers used to be about lengthy calibrations and constant tinkering. Prusa CORE series is completely different: unpack, attach the display, run a quick introduction wizard, load a filament and start printing!
1. Unpack
Pull the printer out of the box, attach the display, plug it in and insert a spool of filament.
2. Set up
Start the printer, navigate the guided welcome wizard and let the printer calibrate itself.
3. Print
Pick one of the pre-made objects from the USB drive or upload your own model.

This printer is an investment: it's a machine you keep, not one you replace every two years
Cheap printers die when a part fails and the company no longer offers spare parts. CORE One+ is built the other way: nothing is glued, and the hardware is published under the Open Community License. Spare parts are available for years.
We use screws and standard fasteners, so you can open it, swap a part, and keep printing.
When we ship a better heatbed mount or a new toolhead, you don't need to buy a brand new printer model - you simply upgrade the one you already have.
Independent reviewers tested the original CORE One platform.
CORE One+ keeps that platform and adds the second-generation hardware described below.
CNET accuracy test
In August 2026, CNET measured how closely printed parts from the original CORE One matched their digital models: “With an overall variance of just 0.18%, it’s the clear winner and produces some incredible prints.”
Tom's Hardware
“Prusa literally transformed their classic i3 printer into a Core XY machine with more speed and all the outstanding quality we expect from an industry leader.”
Sam Prentice
“The print quality is absolutely divine! I’ve tested this across a range of filaments, and the results have been consistently impressive.”
TechRadar
“This is just about the best 3D printer you can get right now.”
What’s new with CORE One+ (Gen 2)
The second generation keeps the same reliable platform and adds several practical improvements to make your printing smoother, cleaner, and faster.
Smoother-looking surfaces
New GT1.5 belts make unwanted repeating patterns finer and harder to notice, especially on large, smooth surfaces.
Cleaner print starts
An integrated wiper cleans loose filament and blobs automatically before laying down the first layer.
Faster print starts
Redesigned heatbed mounting eliminates the 'Absorbing heat' waiting step for temperatures up to 85 °C.
How Upgrades Work
Each upgrade kit comes with a detailed installation guide. All you need is a set of screwdrivers and a bit of patience. The upgraded printer is identical to the official new model.
1. Remove what is required
2. Install new components
3. Enjoy your new printer
...and that's not all!
Because the entire printer can be disassembled with a set of screwdrivers, you can actually assemble your very own machine!
Build Your Own Prusa CORE One+It's the best way to get to know your 3D printer!
It's one of the best weekend projects you can imagine: you start with a box of parts and a detailed, illustrated assembly guide. Think Lego Technic. You follow the guide step by step, and at the end, you have a fully-featured, self-calibrating 3D printer.
Choose the assembled printer or build the same machine from the kit.
The assembled version is ready to start its first print in about 10 minutes. Building the kit usually takes a full weekend and shows you how every part fits together.

The Engineering Behind Zero-Tinkering Printing
Under the clean steel enclosure lies an ecosystem of automated hardware sensors. These smart subsystems monitor, adjust, and correct printing variables in real-time, delivering professional reliability without manual tweaking.
Load Cell Auto-Calibration
Uses a physical pressure sensor on the toolhead to map the bed and set Z-offset perfectly. No paper tests, manual adjustments, or tweaks ever needed.
Active Resonance Dampening
The firmware applies real-time Input Shaping to counteract vibrations and eliminate speed ghosting for even better print quality
Slip‑Free Nextruder Toolhead
A highly tuned 10:1 planetary gear provides precise extrusion control and offers great compatibility with flexible filaments.
Filament Path Autopilot
A precise sensor tracks filament movement. If the filament runs dry, the machine instantly pauses and parks the toolhead to save your progress.
Smart Fan RPM Monitoring
The printer constantly monitors fan RPMs and safely pauses operations if a blockage or fan failure is detected.
Overcurrent Crash Detection
Custom 32-bit electronics continuously monitor stepper motor current spikes to detect anomalies or physical print bed collisions, preventing self-damage.
Engineering materials warp when they cool unevenly: corners lift, layers separate, prints fail. CORE One+ prevents this with a compact chamber that hits up to 55 °C, creating a stable environment. And the best thing? While other printers need you to open the door for printing low-temp materials (like PLA), you can keep the CORE One+ door closed thanks to smart chamber ventilation.
How we make our printers
From the first drawing to the test print on our floor. Hardware, software, and key parts come from our own shops in Prague and Delaware.
Made in Europe and the USA
Over 10,000 printers leave every month. We maintain full control over our manufacturing and supply chain. The same process on both sides of the ocean.
The benchmark for print quality and precision
Accurate dimensions, clean surfaces, and repeatable results, print after print. We test components, finished printers, and real prints throughout development and production.
Built to last
Industrial-grade reliability. Nothing is glued. Everything comes apart with a screwdriver. With spare parts and long-term software support.
Electronics from our own line
Our in-house SMT lines handle both prototype boards and full-scale production of our electronics.
Open-source
Our firmware and PrusaSlicer (slicing software) are open-source which means the entire source code is available on Github for anyone to inspect it.
Secure and 100% private
We don't want to see your data. You don’t have to connect the printer to the network - not even once, and you can still enjoy the full experience without any drawbacks.
