Base polymer for premium‑grade filamentsRaw material for large‑format 3D printing or polymer research & development

Buying small batches of polymer pellets for a laboratory or workshop may be difficult: Raw materials are usually sold in tons or at least hundreds of kilos. But when you need just a few (dozens) of kilos for lab use, or large-format FGF printing, only a handful of manufacturers can help you. We offer pre-dried Prusament pellets in 3,5-14 kg packages for small-scale use.

      Dry pellets

      Pre-dried pellets ready to use

We ship the pellets pre-dried. In most use cases, this makes them ready to use immediately after unpacking.

Generally speaking, the raw material pellets are a commodity shipped with high moisture content. We dry the pellets upon arrival, before manufacturing Prusament. We simply take a portion of these dry pellets, seal them in a plastic canister or bag to keep the moisture level low, and ship them to you.

      Large‑format 3D printing (FGF)

Large-format 3D printing often uses Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF), aka direct printing from pellets. This type of additive manufacturing offers lower prices compared to traditional FFF/FDM printing because it bypasses the filament manufacturing process. The pellet extruders can lay down material at rates of several kilograms per hour, which makes printing with pellets more convenient than with filament. The Prusament Pellets packaging works perfectly for printing medium-sized models, such as furniture, sculptures, etc.

      Research and education

Researchers (or hobby makers) can mix our natural, uncolored, base polymer pellets with custom masterbatches to test new colorants, UV stabilizers, or mechanical additives (like carbon nanotubes or glass fibers). University labs operating desktop filament extruders can use Prusament Pellets to extrude their own experimental 1.75mm or 2.85mm filaments. There is no need to buy large quantities of material for educational purposes. Prusament pellets offer an affordable option for material scientists.

      Note on Color Variation

Our Prusament Pellets PETG Natural are semi-transparent. Due to standard manufacturing processes, a very small number of granules may exhibit a slight orangish tinge. This is a completely normal cosmetic variation and does not affect the mechanical properties, melting behavior, or final quality of your extruded material or prints.
