Prusament PLA Anniversary LE 2025 1kg
About Prusament PLA Anniversary LE 2025 "Goldfish"
For the 7th anniversary of Prusament, we prepared a special, limited run of Prusament PLA. we chose a transparent orange PLA filled with gold glitter. Both the color and the filling are things you know very well and love: Orange is our signature color and one of the best-selling colors of Prusament, and glitter is something we like to use for giving filaments the special touch. This Prusament contains so much glitter that there’s not much room to spare: if we added more, the glitter would fall from the filament, and it wouldn’t print properly. The result is a really fancy version of the signature Prusa Orange, but with an expansive holiday finish. The 3D printed models reflect light in a beautiful, slightly pearly way, and it may look like an orange fish scale under certain conditions. That’s why we call this color Goldfish.

We’ve manufactured just five hundred numbered spools of this unique Prusament, every spool has its unique number (1-500). If you like the color, get it before they’re gone!
To prevent scalpers from ruining the fun for everyone, each account can only buy one Prusament Goldfish PLA spool.
About Prusament PLA
PLA is the first choice of most users, thanks to its good looks and easy printability. It is inexpensive and suitable for beginners and advanced users alike. It is capable of printing both large and detailed models, figures, and quick prototypes that don’t require increased mechanical, chemical, or temperature resistance.

Large color palette
The best-looking models from FFF 3D printers are usually made from PLA. The material has a matte to satin surface, which is valued among most users as it hides imperfections and looks more professional. We offer a large palette of both vivid and subtle colors of Prusament PLA, which can be used for multiple purposes, such as lithophane images, various home decor models, toys, parts of costumes, and much more.

Print in all sizes
The Prusament PLA has low shrinkage, which makes it possible to print large objects with little to no warping. This is especially useful for printing huge models glued from multiple parts. Take a look at some of our projects, such as this PrusaCaster, for example!

Furthermore, the low melting temperature in combination with fast cooling enables easy printing of detailed parts, bridges, and overhangs.
Premium quality
PLA is the best-selling type of Prusament thanks to its great looks and easy printability. We are aware of this and continually expand our color portfolio. Our filaments feature high colorconsistency, 0.02 mm precision, and perfect winding. Plus, you can inspect your spool to see its details.

Basic Attributes
New spools equipped with OpenPrintTag
Prusament filaments are wound on a redesigned spool that introduces several improvements for an even better printing experience, starting in October 2025. The new spool features a simple locking mechanism that makes disassembly quick and easy, allowing effortless refills. It also stays secure during filament drying, even at higher temperatures. And with its slimmer dimensions, the spool ensures compatibility with a wide range of multi-color and multi-material printing systems.

Every new Prusament spool now comes with a fully rewritable NFC tag powered by the OpenPrintTag standard. It’s designed to work across brands and ecosystems. It is free to use, free to extend, and open for anyone to build upon. Most importantly, it works entirely offline. All essential data is stored directly on the tag. Your printer can recognize the spool instantly, with no dependence on cloud services or vendor lock-ins. The OpenPrintTag attached to your Prusament spool contains essential data about the material and can be read with the Prusa mobile app.

What can you expect?
Prusament PLA is our own in-house made filament. The whole manufacturing process is closely monitored and tested - we guarantee ±0.02mm precision (± 0,03 for blends) and highly-consistent colors. You can inspect parameters of every spool we made at prusament.com. Check the sample spool!

Manufactured In-House By Josef Prusa
We were not satisfied with the quality of filaments on the market. So we decided to make our own! Prusa Research is the only 3D printer manufacturer with its own filament production.

Premium-Grade Materials And Thorough Testing
The whole manufacturing process is closely monitored and tested – string diameter, color consistency, and mechanical properties – to make sure that every spool is perfect.

± 0.02 mm Manufacturing Guaranteed Precision
We believe the industry standard of 0.05 mm isn’t sufficient for perfect 3D printing. Instead, we guarantee ±0.02mm precision (± 0,03 for blends) and highly-consistent colors in our filaments.

High Quality You Can Check Yourself
We are the only manufacturer that gives the option to inspect parameters of every filament spool. Scan a QR code on the spool to see all details online (check the sample spool).
Beginners tips & tricks
Popular among both beginners and advanced users
PLA is the easiest-to-print filament we make. It’s reliable and it doesn’t require any print preparations or difficult post-processing methods. If you’re new to 3D printing, it’s best to start with PLA before using other materials.
Sanding
When post-processing PLA, it’s better to use wet sanding. Without water you’ll quickly start heating the plastic by friction, it will melt locally and deform. Also, without water, the sanding material would clog easily.
Gluing
PLA can be glued with many types of glue. We recommend using superglue for most of the parts. Certain PLA filaments may be also glued using acetone, however, it strongly depends on the various additives and colors used.
Notes
This PLA is made in-house by Prusa Polymers.
1.75 mm filament is manufactured with precision of ± 0.02 mm (±0.03 for blends)
Before printing, make sure the surface of the heatbed is clean as described in the 3D Printing Handbook.
To dry the filament, please follow the instructions in our article.
Preparation time: 3-5 business days. Note that other items in the order may affect the total leadtime.
