ColorFabb XT-CF20 is based on ColorFabb XT. It is a general purpose, odor-free, and temperature resistant co-polyester reinforced with 20% carbon fibers.
The addition of carbon fibers gives this filament unique properties. Products printed with ColorFabb XT-CF20 are strong, rigid and durable with high temperature resistance and a highly attractive matt black surface.
This material is great for a variety of industries, such as RC models, drones, aerospace or automotive.
However, XT-CF20 accelerates the nozzle-wear of standard brass nozzles much faster than unfilled filaments. Using a hardened stainless steel nozzle is strongly recommended.

1.75 mm filament is manufactured with a precision of +- 0.05 mm

Before printing, make sure the surface of heatbed is clean as described in 3D Printing Handbook.
Smooth PEI surface preparation! Make sure to apply Kores glue on the smooth PEI before printing. Glue serves as a separating agent and helps to protect the surface when removing the finished print from getting damage. Without the glue, the filament adhesion may be too strong!

The XT-CF20 filament prints absolutely smoothly with the profile integrated in the Prusa Slicer. I printed a part with a footprint of Ø 75mm and a height of around 80mm with a hardened 0.6mm nozzle onto a satin sheet prepared with the glue stick. Warping was not an issue - the part held bombproof and still came off the sheet well. The surfaces turn a nice matte black and slightly rough. Dimensional accuracy is <0.1mm and the part is enormously stable. The only negative point: The intended support structure did not work at all. The layers did not bond at all, unlike the component itself, and the material fell loosely onto the sheet. I have no idea how to get a grip on this. I'll probably have to start a few more attempts.
I bought this quite awhile back when I was first starting my 3D printing and it sat in the package on the shelf for many months. I just started using it yesterday, and once I got everything dialed in, the quality of the finish is awesome! First layer at 250c and 245c for all other layers and bed temp at 100c.
