Introducing Original Prusa SL1 3D printer, which is based on the MSLA printing process. Unlike our FDM machines, this printer uses a high-resolution LCD panel and a UV LED to cure thin layers of resin to achieve an unprecedented level of detail.
Featuring a high-resolution 5.5'' LCD display and silent trinamic drivers, the SL1 can reach the minimum layer height of 0.01 mm. With the recommended layer height of 0.025-0.1 mm and print area size of 120 x 68 x 150 mm, you can print more detailed objects than ever before.
Built around a rigid dural frame with a separate body, SL1 offers highly reliable printing. Removable resin tank with a FEP film and motorized tilt prevents layer shifts and stirs the resin. Thanks to the quick calibration wizard, you will need to calibrate the printer only once.
SL1 is compatible with third-party resins. The flexible FEP bottom of the resin tank can be replaced and the whole process is quick, easy and cheap. Thanks to a number of safety features, such as resin level sensor, vapor extraction and latest generation electronics, the SL1 is perfect for new users.
Control the printer using a full-color LCD touch screen or via a web browser thanks to Wi-fi and LAN connectivity. Slicing is also easy - the printer uses our Slic3r Prusa Edition slicing software. Printed models can be further processed in the Curing and Washing machine (sold separately)
ORIGINAL PRUSA CURING AND WASHING MACHINE is a separate accessory the for Original Prusa SL1 3D printer.
After printing an object from resin, it is highly recommended to wash it in isopropylalcohol and cure the surface using UV light.
The CURING AND WASHING MACHINE is a 3-in-1 device, and it takes care of washing, drying and curing. It can even automatically select the right mode.
Insert a tank with isopropyl alcohol, put a 3D printed object inside and the magnet-driven propeller will stir the IPA and wash the printed object. Once you remove the tank and place only the printed object inside the machine, it will start curing it with UV light.
