# Terms and Conditions PRUSA CONNECT

**Prusa Link, Prusa Connect and Prusa Connect Farm**

## 1\. Introduction

**1.1.** The Prusa Connect service (hereinafter **“Prusa Connect”**), as well as the Prusa Link and Prusa Connect Farm services (Prusa Connect, Prusa Link and Prusa Connect Farm together also referred to as the “**Connect Services**”), are operated by **Prusa Research a.s.**, a company with its registered office at Partyzánská 188/7A, 17000, Prague 7, Czech Republic, Id. No.: 06649114, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, File No. B 23056 (hereinafter “**Prusa**” or the “**Operator**”).

**1.2.** Contact details of the Operator: tel.: +420 222 263 718, e-mail: info@prusa3d.com or other online communication tools available at [www.prusa3D.com](https://www.prusa3d.com/).

**1.3.** “User” means a natural or legal person who uses any of the Connect Services in any way (hereinafter the “**User**”).

**1.4.** The contractual relationship between the Operator and the User is governed by these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “**Connect Terms**”), which, based on this link, also include the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the PRUSA Websites and Services available [here](https://www.prusa3d.com/page/general-terms-and-conditions-of-use-of-the-prusa-websites_231226) (hereinafter the “**General Terms**”). The User is not entitled to use the Connect Services unless the User agrees with the Connect Terms and the General Terms.

**1.5.** “Organisation” means a User or another entity (in particular a legal person, a self-employed natural person, but also a school, a research or educational institution, an association, a children’s and youth centre or another organisation) that uses the Connect Services within its business, professional, educational, research, hobby or other than purely personal or household activity, and in the course of whose operation printers, print tasks, files and other resources are managed within a single group (Team) (hereinafter the “**Organisation**”). The status of an Organisation is not conditional on carrying out business, nor on whether the Prusa Connect or Prusa Connect Farm service is used; what is decisive is that the Connect Services are not used exclusively for personal or household activity. If a natural person uses the Connect Services exclusively for personal or household activity, there is no Organisation.

**1.6.** “**Organisation Representative**” means a natural person with the account level “Owner” in a Team used on behalf of the Organisation who, on behalf of the Organisation, creates and administers a group (Team), represents the Organisation towards the Operator, and is authorised to perform acts on behalf of the Organisation under these Connect Terms, including the conclusion of the DPA under Article 6.12 (hereinafter the “Organisation Representative”). There is always only one Organisation Representative for each Team. By activating or ordering the Connect Services on behalf of the Organisation, the Organisation Representative confirms that it is authorised to represent the Organisation to this extent.

**1.7.** The Connect Services may only be used by registered Users with their own PRUSA ACCOUNT. The terms and conditions of registration and use of the PRUSA ACCOUNT are part of the General Terms and can be found [here](https://www.prusa3d.com/page/general-terms-and-conditions-of-use-of-the-prusa-websites_231226).

**1.8.** These Connect Terms have been drawn up in the Czech, English, German, French, Italian, Polish and Spanish languages; these language versions are binding. If Czech is set as the language of the service in the User’s browser or printer upon the first activation of Prusa Link or upon the first login, the contractual relationship is governed by the Czech version of the Connect Terms. In other cases, the contractual relationship is governed by the bilingual version of the Connect Terms, where the first language shall be the language set in the User’s browser and the second language shall always be English; in case of any variance between the two language versions, the English version shall prevail.

**1.9.** Personal data are processed for the purpose of providing and operating the Connect Services. Information on the terms and conditions of personal data processing in connection with the Connect Services is available [here](https://www.prusa3d.com/p/prusa-connect/prusa-connect-privacy-policy-2026-09-09/); Users are obliged to become acquainted with them prior to the commencement of their use. If the User uses the Connect Services on behalf of an Organisation and personal data of other persons are made available within the group, the Operator may act as a processor on behalf of the Organisation; the details and the obligation to conclude a DPA are governed by Article 6.12.

## 2\. Prusa Link

**2.1.** Prusa Link is a printer functionality enabling remote printing on selected PRUSA 3D printers. Prusa Link consists of software and hardware means. A list of compatible printers enabling the use or installation of Prusa Link can be found [here](https://help.prusa3d.com/article/what-are-prusalink-and-prusaconnect_302608).

**2.2.** If Prusa Link is not part of the printer, it is possible to install this functionality on a compatible printer afterwards according to the instructions available at [prusa3D.com](https://help.prusa3d.com/article/prusa-connect-and-prusalink-explained_302608). In that case, the costs of the necessary printer modifications (especially the purchase of necessary HW equipment) shall be borne by the User.

**2.3.** The software means necessary for the use of Prusa Link are provided free of charge and their use is governed by the following [open source](https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/blob/master/LICENSE.md) licence. In connection with the use of Prusa Link, the Operator is not obliged to provide the User with any installation, integration or maintenance services, updates or other servicing. The Operator provides no warranty as to the availability or functionality of Prusa Link. The User uses Prusa Link at its own risk and the Operator shall not be liable for any damage incurred by the User or third parties in connection with the use of Prusa Link to the extent permitted by applicable law. This shall not affect any consumer rights from which it is not possible to derogate by contract.

**2.4.** Successful installation and operation of Prusa Link is conditional on the use of up-to-date versions of the software and firmware available for the relevant 3D printer. In order to properly install, activate and set up Prusa Link, it is necessary to follow the user documentation and information contained in the knowledge base available [here](https://help.prusa3d.com/article/prusa-connect-and-prusalink-explained_302608) (hereinafter the “**Prusa Link Documentation**”).

**2.5.** For correct and safe use of Prusa Link, the User is obliged to comply with the Prusa Link Documentation, including the applicable licence arrangements. To avoid any doubt, Prusa Link is not a service provided by the Operator but a printer functionality; responsibility for its correct and safe use lies with the User to the extent permitted by applicable law. The costs related to the use of Prusa Link (e.g. costs of connecting a printer to the network, other necessary HW equipment, etc.) shall be borne exclusively by the User.

**2.6.** **Important notice**: If the User makes a printer accessible for remote assignment, activation and administration of print tasks via Prusa Link, the User is obliged to pay increased attention and to secure the printer and its surroundings against any damage. Furthermore, if the User makes a printer accessible via Prusa Link to third parties, the User hereby acknowledges that these persons may use the printer and administer it remotely to the same extent as the User, where only the User, rather than the Operator, is fully responsible for setting the access rights and security rules.

**2.7.** Printers with correctly activated Prusa Link functionality may use other remote access and online management functions via the Prusa Connect service.

## 3\. Prusa Connect

**3.1.** The Prusa Connect service is a service of remote access, printing and administration of PRUSA 3D printers connected to the computer network. Through Prusa Connect, you can remotely access the connected printer, via the Internet, administer it, assign print tasks to it (individually or collectively for one or more printers) or give additional commands to printers. All of the above depending on the User access-rights settings in Prusa Connect. If the User of the connected printer allows it in the Prusa Connect service settings, other persons may also have access to the User’s printer(s) connected to Prusa Connect, to the extent of the settings chosen by the User. The provisions of Articles 2.6 and 4.3 thus also apply to the Prusa Connect service to the full extent.

**3.2.** The Prusa Connect service also includes a data space provided for storing print files, previews and other content related to the printing process using connected printers. The data space is established for the Team upon connection of the first printer. Its size and scope are governed by the subscription plan of the User with the account level “Owner”; the other Users and printers connected to the Team share this data space.

**3.3.** Users are obliged to use the data space provided by the Operator within Prusa Connect to store files only in the format and size permitted by the Operator.

**3.4.** The Prusa Connect service is provided free of charge in its basic parameters. This shall in no way prejudice Article 4.2 on premium services within the individual Subscription plans. The Operator does not provide any service level agreement (SLA), guarantee of uninterrupted availability or other contractual warranties for the Prusa Connect service beyond these Connect Terms and obligations from which it is not possible to derogate under applicable law. If the User is not a consumer, the Operator does not, in particular, guarantee the availability of the Prusa Connect service or the remedy of any defects or obstacles to availability and is not obliged to provide installation, integration, maintenance, updates, upgrades or other servicing, unless otherwise agreed between the parties. The Operator is entitled to extend, change, modify, restrict or terminate the Prusa Connect service subject to these Connect Terms and applicable law. An up-to-date list of the available functionalities and the specification of the Prusa Connect service are available [here](https://help.prusa3d.com/product/prusa-connect?_rsc=z_BYrVi0mlnJMOmC). The Operator shall not be liable for damage caused by unavailability, changes or termination of the service to the extent permitted by applicable law. If the User is a consumer, this Article shall not affect the User’s rights under Article 9 or any other rights from which it is not possible to derogate by contract.

**3.5.** Prusa Connect Users may use 3D printers of other Users provided that they are members of the Prusa Connect user group to which they were invited by its administrator (see Article 4). At the same time, the Prusa Connect service may only be used by Users who have acquainted themselves with the Connect Terms and other related Operator’s documentation (General Terms of Use, Prusa Connect Privacy Policy, PRUSA Account Terms and Conditions, etc.), have approved them and have agreed to comply with them.

**3.6.** For correct and efficient use of the Prusa Connect service, the Operator recommends fulfilling at least the technical requirements available [here](https://help.prusa3d.com/product/prusa-connect?_rsc=z_BYrVi0mlnJMOmC). The technical conditions and specifications may change during the operation of the Prusa Connect service and the User is obliged to use the Service only in compliance with the current instructions and recommendations of the Operator.

**3.7.** The rights of Users to data generated by the operation of printers and related services are governed by the Prusa Data Portability Policy available at [here](https://www.prusa3d.com/p/prusa-connect/prusa-connect-privacy-policy-2026-09-09/), which forms an integral part of these Connect Terms.

## 4\. Prusa Connect Team

**4.1.** After the first login to the Prusa Connect service, a group (hereinafter the “**Team**”) is created for the User, in which the User has the account level “Owner”. The Team may be used for personal or household activity or on behalf of an Organisation. When used for personal or household activity, the User with the account level “Owner” acts on his/her own behalf; if the Team is used on behalf of an Organisation, the User with the account level “Owner” is the Organisation Representative under Article 1.6.

The User with the account level “Owner” may invite other Users to the Team and grant or revoke their permissions in accordance with the Prusa Connect user documentation. A Team used on behalf of an Organisation is intended for the management of printers and other resources of a single Organisation. The Organisation is responsible for the correctness of the Team settings, the permissions of its members and the existence of a legal basis for making their personal data available.

Connecting printers belonging to several different owners into a single Team, for example within community printing operations or shared workshops, is not the standard mode of the Connect Services and is possible only on the basis of a special arrangement with the Operator or special conditions; otherwise these Connect Terms do not apply to such use.

**4.2.** By connecting the first printer to the Team, the Team is provided with the basic free data space under Article 3.2. The Operator may provide premium services in addition to the basic data space, such as versioning, history storage or increasing the size of the data space, according to the selected subscription plan of the User with the account level “Owner”. The terms and conditions of the PRUSA services, including PRUSA Subscription, are governed by the [General Terms](https://www.prusa3d.com/page/general-terms-and-conditions-of-use-of-the-prusa-websites_231226). An up-to-date description of the included services and the prices of the individual subscription plans are available on the PRUSA Subscription page [here](https://subscription.prusa3d.com/).

**4.3.** **Important notice.** The User with the account level “Owner” may grant another User within the Team administrator permission with the account level “Admin”. A User with the account level “Admin” may, like a User with the account level “Owner”, change the Team settings and manage its resources to the extent corresponding to that account level, including granting the account level “Admin” to other Users. However, the User may not grant or transfer the account level “Owner” or perform other acts reserved for that account level.

A User with the account level “Admin” is entitled, in particular, to delete the content of the shared data space, assign print tasks to printers connected to the Team or cancel them. The detailed scope of the individual permissions is described in the Prusa Connect user documentation.

The User with the account level “Owner”, or the Organisation if the Team is used on its behalf, is responsible towards the Operator for the setting of permissions and the conduct of Users within the Team; this shall not affect the responsibility of an individual User for his/her own conduct. The provisions of Article 2.6 shall apply accordingly.

**4.4.** Any change of the User with the account level “Owner”, removal of a member, restoration of administration and termination of the Team shall be carried out in accordance with the Prusa Connect user documentation. The User with the account level “Owner”, or the Organisation if the Team is used on its behalf, is responsible for the timely transfer of administration of the Team and for downloading or transferring the data it wishes to retain.

The Operator may require reasonable evidence of authorisation and, in the event of a dispute or doubt, postpone the change or temporarily restrict access to the functions concerned. Removal of a member terminates that member’s access to the Team. Further handling of data upon a change or termination of the Team is governed by these Connect Terms and the documents referred to in Articles 3.7 and 6.12.

## 5\. Prusa Connect Farm

**5.1.** Prusa Connect Farm is an extended professional mode of the Prusa Connect service provided as a cloud software service (SaaS). The service is intended in particular for business entities for the management, organisation, monitoring and coordination of a larger number of 3D printers, print tasks, orders, files, users, roles, materials and production processes within an organisation or a group administered by the Organisation Representative. Business, professional, educational, research, hobby or other than personal or household use may also occur within the basic Prusa Connect service; the difference between Prusa Connect and Prusa Connect Farm lies in the scope and functions of the service (in particular the number of printers and tasks, parallel printing, load balancing and analytics), not in the range of entities that may be an Organisation within the meaning of Article 1.5. If the User is in a particular case considered a consumer under applicable law, this shall not affect the User’s rights from which it is not possible to deviate by contract; the provisions of these Connect Terms limiting the Operator’s liability or establishing obligations of the User shall apply to such a User only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

**5.2.** The Prusa Connect Farm service and functions, including advanced features such as automatic distribution of print tasks, order scheduling, quality-control processes, bulk operations, role management, user management, dashboards, material management and API integrations, serve exclusively for the internal management and coordination of resources within the relevant organisation or Team. Automatic decisions, recommendations, planning or task assignments generated or triggered by the Prusa Connect Farm service are of a merely supporting nature and do not replace the control of the User, who is obliged to actively carry out such control himself/herself.

**5.3.** Any making available of printers, files, print tasks, storage, camera streams, data, material data, production plans or other resources within the Organisation or Team takes place on the basis of a decision of the Organisation, made through the Organisation Representative or the relevant Team member, and at the Organisation’s responsibility; this shall not affect the responsibility of the individual User for his/her own conduct.

**5.4.** Prusa Connect Farm is not a security or monitoring system and does not replace physical supervision of the operation of the printers. The User is always exclusively responsible for the control, execution and result of print tasks, the efficient use of resources and the safety of printing. Each User is responsible for the physical supervision of the printers it operates and for the safety of their operation.

**5.5.** The Prusa Connect Farm functions comprising automatic task distribution, analytics, usage statistics or performance evaluation serve exclusively for the coordination of printers and production resources. The Organisation, the Organisation Representative and any other User are not entitled to use the outputs of these functions for the automated evaluation, monitoring or management of natural persons, in particular Team members as employees or collaborators, nor to make decisions about their working conditions. Any such use is the exclusive responsibility of the person who made such use, who is obliged to ensure compliance with applicable law, in particular in the area of personal data protection and employment.

**5.6.** Prusa Connect Farm is not a marketplace, an intermediary service, a print-on-demand service, a fulfilment service, a production-capacity sharing service, a long-term archiving service, a data backup or escrow service, a service for concluding contracts between Team members, nor a platform for the provision of 3D printing services between Team members. Prusa Connect Farm does not provide a mechanism or platform for the creation of employment, commercial or similar relationships between Team members and bears no responsibility for their performance. The Operator is not a party to any agreement, order, transaction, arrangement or other relationship between the Organisation and the individual Team members or between individual Team members with each other.

**5.7.** In the event that marketplace integration services via API are available as part of Prusa Connect Farm, such services have the nature of a technical connector, the configuration and operation of which is ensured by the Organisation through the Organisation Representative at its own responsibility and on the basis of its own contractual relationship with the relevant marketplace or third party. The Operator provides only a technical interface; it is not a party to any order, transaction or other relationship created on the marketplace, does not mediate such relationships, does not verify or process content, product data (SKU) or orders transmitted via the connector and is not liable for them. The automatic transmission of a print task into production on the basis of data from the marketplace takes place according to the configuration set by the Organisation Representative on behalf of the Organisation and under the Organisation’s control.

**5.8.** The Organisation is responsible for the configuration and use of API integrations and for all data obtained via these integrations. The Organisation is also responsible for fulfilling all obligations related to the operation of camera systems, in particular information obligations towards the persons concerned. The Operator does not verify the accuracy of data obtained via API integrations and is not liable for damage arising as a result of erroneous data obtained via API integrations or as a result of the unavailability of the API for any reason.

**5.9.** The Operator reserves the right to establish technical limitations of the API, limits on the number of requests or to restrict access to the API at any time in order to protect the stability and security of the service. The Prusa Connect Farm service is operated in a beta version, i.e. in a test mode. The Operator reserves the right to extend, change, modify or terminate the provision of the Prusa Connect Farm service at any time. If the User is a consumer, this shall not affect the User’s mandatory rights under Article 9.

**5.10.** The Organisation is responsible for accepting Team members, setting their permissions, making available printers, files, cameras, storage and other Team resources, and for setting the rules of their use. Before making the Prusa Connect Farm functions available to Team members, the Organisation is obliged to establish binding rules for the use of the Team, in particular rules for the use of printers, order management, consumables, failed prints, compensation for damage, protection of confidential information, use of cameras, prohibited content and resolution of disputes between Team members, and to ensure compliance with them by the Organisation Representative and Team members. The provisions of Articles 2.6 and 4.3 of these Connect Terms also apply to the setup and use of Prusa Connect Farm.

## 6\. Miscellaneous

**6.1.** When using the Connect Services, the User is obliged to proceed in accordance with the relevant user documentation, these Connect Terms, applicable legislation and with respect to the legitimate interests of the Operator, other Users and third parties.

**6.2.** When using the Connect Services, the User is, in particular, obliged to act so as to prevent any damage to property, unauthorised interference with intellectual property, privacy or other legitimate interests; this applies to both acts and omissions.

**6.3.** The use of the Connect Services for activities that are at variance with applicable legislation or good morals is not permitted. The User agrees to comply with the principles of effective use of network resources, i.e. the User is obliged, in particular, to refrain from scraping activities, artificially increasing queries and overloading the capacity of the service, sending unsolicited or harassing communications, etc.

**6.4.** If the Prusa Link, Prusa Connect or Prusa Connect Farm service is provided in beta mode, the User acknowledges that the relevant service may contain errors, incomplete functions, limitations, outages, changes of functionality or other instabilities.

**6.5.** The User further agrees not to transfer, store or otherwise disseminate, through the Connect Services, any illegal content or content infringing the rights of third parties or these Connect Terms. Users agree to only transfer and store files and printing documents which they are sufficiently authorised to reproduce, publish, disseminate or use and further license under the terms and conditions of the relevant licence. The User also agrees that the content shared, stored or otherwise disseminated by the User (hereinafter the “**Content**”) does not violate any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights, and is not at variance with applicable laws and good morals. Furthermore, the User agrees to use the Service to only display printing documents which do not serve as instructions for printing items the possession or manufacture of which is restricted or prohibited by laws and regulations.

**6.6.** The User is fully responsible for all Content and printing documents transferred through the Prusa Connect service. The Operator is not liable for such Content in any way whatsoever. The Operator points out that the Content created by other Users or third parties is in no way controlled or verified by the Operator prior to publication. Thus, the printing documents and their description and labelling may contain factual, technical and formal inaccuracies or errors and therefore may in no way be deemed to be expert advice, instructions or statements. The Operator does not guarantee the quality or flawlessness of the printing documents and is not liable to the User for any damage incurred as a result of their use. The User agrees to compensate the Operator, other Users and, where applicable, third parties for any damage incurred by them in connection with the uploading, transfer, storage, sharing, making available or use of the relevant Content or printing documents. If the User is a consumer, the User’s obligation to compensate damage under this Article shall apply only to the extent corresponding to the general rules of liability for damage under the Civil Code and does not establish obligations beyond the statutory liability of a consumer.

**6.7.** The general terms and the scope of permitted use of Prusa online services, as well as the conditions for reporting and removing illegal content, are set out in the General Terms, which form part of these Connect Terms. If you consider any content found in the Prusa Connect or Prusa Connect Farm service illegal or infringing your rights or privacy, please proceed in accordance with the [General Terms](https://www.prusa3d.com/page/general-terms-and-conditions-of-use-of-the-prusa-websites_231226) or contact the Operator directly via the following link: [here](https://backend.prusa3d.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/illegal-content-report-form-EN-form-1.pdf).

**6.8.** Any and all costs of acquisition and installation of Prusa Link, connection of a printer and use of the Connect Services, including the costs of additional hardware or software means or connection to the electronic communications network, shall be borne by the User. This includes, in particular, the purchase of the User’s own necessary hardware equipment, internet connection costs, electricity consumption, consumables, etc.

**6.9.** Unless otherwise agreed in writing between Prusa and a specific customer, Prusa does not provide, for the Prusa Link, Prusa Connect or Prusa Connect Farm service, any service level agreement (SLA) or other contractual service level, in particular no guarantee of availability, response time, defect-resolution time, guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation, guarantee of data retention, guarantee of correct production planning, correct distribution of print tasks, correctness of the production schedule, correctness of print-time estimates, material consumption, costs, capacity or printer utilisation. If the User is a consumer, this shall not affect the User’s mandatory rights under Article 9.

**6.10.** Prusa further does not guarantee, within the Connect Services, the completion of a print task, the success of printing, the quality of the print, the suitability of the print for any purpose, or the suitability of the service for any specific operational, commercial, production, safety, certification or regulatory purpose.

**6.11.** Any Connect Service may be temporarily unavailable, restricted, changed, interrupted or terminated, in particular due to maintenance, development, security, changes of functionality, operational restrictions, technical problems, third-party interference, infrastructure limitations or other circumstances. If the User is a consumer, this shall not affect the User’s mandatory rights under Article 9.

**6.12.** To the extent that the Operator processes personal data on behalf of the Organisation — in particular personal data of Users and other persons made available within the group — the Organisation acts as the controller and the Operator as the processor. In such a case, the Organisation Representative is obliged to conclude, on behalf of the Organisation, a personal data processing agreement with the Operator pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR (hereinafter the “**DPA**”), whereby this applies both to the Prusa Connect service and to the Prusa Connect Farm service; the DPA is concluded at the latest upon activation or ordering of the relevant Connect Service. The DPA is concluded exclusively by the Organisation Representative; other Users do not conclude it. The Organisation is responsible for having a legal basis, towards the Users and other persons whose personal data are made available within the group, for processing them. If the Organisation processes, through the Connect Services, the personal data of minors (for example pupils, children or members of hobby groups), it is responsible for the existence of an appropriate legal basis under Articles 6 and 8 of the GDPR, in particular the consent of a legal guardian where required.

If a natural person uses the Connect Services exclusively for personal or household activity (so-called household activities), there is no processing on behalf of an Organisation, no DPA is concluded, and the Operator, in relation to the personal data of such a person, acts as an independent controller in accordance with its privacy policy. This shall not affect the independent processing of personal data carried out by the Operator as a controller (in particular the operation and security of the Connect Services, account administration and telemetry), to which the DPA does not apply.

The specifics of the processing of personal data, including the allocation of the roles of controller and processor and the DPA template, are governed by the Personal Data Processing Policy for the Prusa Connect service (hereinafter the “**Connect Data Processing Policy**”); the DPA template forms its annex and applies both to the Prusa Connect service and to Prusa Connect Farm. The Connect Data Processing Policy is available [here](https://www.prusa3d.com/p/prusa-connect/prusa-connect-privacy-policy-2026-09-09/).

## 7\. Limitation of Liability

**7.1.** To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for damage arising in connection with the use of the Prusa Link, Prusa Connect or Prusa Connect Farm services, in particular for lost profit, loss of production, delay, frustration of an order, loss of business opportunity, material consumption, wear or damage to a printer, failed prints, loss of or damage to data, incorrect assignment of a print task, incorrect production planning, erroneous estimates of time, capacity or consumption, incorrect automatic distribution of print tasks, incorrect performance or evaluation of quality-control processes, incorrect display of printer status, production plan or dashboard, infringement of third-party rights, interference with privacy, damage arising in connection with the use of camera systems, API integrations, file sharing, use of Team resources, or in connection with content, data or files uploaded by Users.

**7.2.** In the case of the Prusa Connect Farm service, the provisions of Article 7.1 also apply to direct damage arising to the Organisation, entrepreneurs, legal entities and other entities that are not consumers, as well as to Organisation Representatives and Team members in connection with the use of the Prusa Connect Farm service, to the extent that such exclusion of liability is permitted by applicable law; this provision does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

**7.3.** If the Operator’s liability cannot be entirely excluded under the preceding provisions of this Article 7, the total amount of damage compensation is limited, depending on the service used, as follows:

a) For the Prusa Link and Prusa Connect services (in basic mode), which are provided free of charge or with a limited range of functions, the Operator’s liability is limited pursuant to Article 3.4 of the General Terms (i.e. up to the amount of the price paid for the given service over the last 12 months, but no more than EUR 500). If the Prusa Link or Prusa Connect services are used by an Organisation, this limit applies to it as well, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

b) For the Prusa Connect Farm service, which represents an extended professional mode with a greater scope and functions, the Operator’s liability is, with regard to its nature and scope, limited to the higher of the following amounts: twice the price paid for the Prusa Connect Farm service over the last 12 months, or EUR 2,000. Article 3.4 of the General Terms does not apply to the Prusa Connect Farm service.

The limits under points a) and b) apply to a single damage event or a series of interrelated damage events, regardless of the number of affected Users, Team members or claims asserted.

This limitation shall not affect damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, damage to health or life, the right of a weaker party to compensation for harm to the extent that such right cannot be limited in advance under Section 2898 of the Civil Code, or the rights of a consumer from which it is not possible to derogate under applicable law.

**7.4.** The Operator is not liable for damage arising between Team members with each other, nor for damage arising as a result of the setting of permissions, configuration of the Team, use of API integrations, use of camera systems, sharing of Team resources or a decision of the Organisation made through the Organisation Representative. The Organisation is responsible, towards the Operator, for the administration, configuration and use of the Team if the Team is used on its behalf; when used for personal or household activity, the User with the account level “Owner” is responsible.

**7.5.** This limitation of liability shall apply to the broadest extent permitted by applicable law.

## 8\. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

**8.1.** The legal relationships between the User and the Operator arising on the basis of these Connect Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory provisions of applicable law provide otherwise.

## 9\. Special Provisions for Contractual Arrangements with a Consumer

**9.1.** The consumer agrees to the use of means of distance communication in connection with the conclusion of contracts with PRUSA. The costs incurred by the consumer through the use of means of distance communication in this connection shall be borne entirely by the consumer. These costs do not differ from the basic rates at the consumer’s location.

**9.2.** PRUSA is not bound, in relation to the consumer, by any codes of conduct within the meaning of Section 1820(1)(n) of the Civil Code.

**9.3.** In the event that a consumer dispute arises between a user as a consumer and PRUSA that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the consumer is entitled to submit a proposal for out-of-court resolution of such dispute to the competent body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, which is:

Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Central Inspectorate

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Department

Štěpánská 15

120 00 Prague 2 – Nové Město

E-mail address: adr@coi.cz

Website: https://adr.coi.cz

**9.4.** Information on the bodies for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in the member states of the European Union, Norway and Iceland is available on the relevant portal of the European Commission [here](https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/list-alternative-dispute-resolution-adr-bodies_en).

**9.5. Consumer rights in relation to digital services.** If the User is a consumer and mandatory provisions concerning digital content or a digital content service apply to the relevant Connect Service, the User’s statutory rights shall apply in full. The provisions of these Connect Terms concerning the absence of contractual warranties, availability, updates, limitation of liability, modification or termination of the service shall apply to the Consumer only to the extent that they do not limit such mandatory rights.

**9.6. Conformity and updates.** To the extent required by mandatory law, the Operator is responsible for the conformity of the digital service and provides the necessary updates. This does not provide the Consumer with an SLA or a guarantee of absolutely uninterrupted or error-free operation.

**9.7. Rights arising from defective performance.** If the digital service is defective, the Consumer shall have the rights arising from defective performance to the extent and under the conditions provided by law, in particular the right to require the defect to be remedied and, where the statutory conditions are met, an appropriate price reduction or to withdraw from the contract.

**9.8. Changes to a digital service.** If a Connect Service is to be provided to the Consumer for a certain period of time, the Operator may change it in particular due to the development or modification of functions, security and stability, changes in legal or technical requirements, infrastructure or third-party services, or changes in supported devices and technologies. Unless the change is necessary to maintain conformity, the change shall not result in additional costs for the Consumer and the Operator shall inform the Consumer of the change in a clear and comprehensible manner. If the change negatively impacts the Consumer’s access to or use of the service to more than a minor extent, the Operator shall inform the Consumer in text form within a reasonable period in advance and shall allow the Consumer to terminate the obligation without penalty to the extent required by mandatory law.

**9.9. Making a complaint.** The Consumer may lodge a complaint with the Operator via the e-mail address info@prusa3d.com or through other online communication tools designated for handling complaints; this shall not affect the right to lodge a complaint by any other method permitted by law. Upon receipt and settlement of the complaint, the Operator shall issue confirmation to the extent required by law. A complaint concerning a digital service shall be handled within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature of the service and the purpose for which the Consumer requested it.

## 10\. Final Provisions

**10.1.** In the event of a breach of these Connect Terms, binding legal regulations of the Czech Republic or good morals by the User, the Operator is entitled, proportionately to the nature and seriousness of the breach, to take, in particular, one of the following measures: (a) notify the User and call upon the User to remedy the situation, (b) temporarily restrict access to the Connect Services or to some of their functions, or (c) suspend or cancel the User Account. The Operator shall, as a rule, resort to the measure under point (c) only after prior notice and the provision of a reasonable period for remedy, unless the nature of the breach does not allow this. Without prior notice, the Operator is entitled to suspend or cancel the User Account only in the case of a particularly serious breach (in particular fraudulent conduct, gross infringement of third-party rights, conduct endangering the security, operation or integrity of the Connect Services or other Users) or where required by legal regulations. The Operator shall inform the User of the measure taken and its reasons without undue delay, unless this would frustrate the purpose of the measure or would be contrary to legal regulations; the User is entitled to object to the measure in accordance with the procedure set out in the General Terms. If the cancellation of the User Account under this Article also affects paid Subscription, the claim for a refund of its proportionate part is governed by the General Terms.

**10.2.** The Operator is entitled to unilaterally amend or update these Connect Terms to a reasonable extent, in particular due to a change in legal regulations, development, security or the scope and functions of the services, or for another reasonable cause the need for which arises from the nature of a long-term provided service. The Operator shall notify the User of the change at least 30 days before the effective date of the new version, by publishing the new version on the Operator’s website and at the same time by a message sent to the User’s registered e-mail address, if available. If the new version substantially and to the User’s detriment changes the User’s rights and obligations, the User is entitled to reject the change and to terminate the obligation for this reason so that the termination takes effect no later than on the effective date of the change; no special obligation burdening the User is associated with such termination, and the termination of the subscription as well as any refund of the proportionate part of the price are governed by the General Terms. This right does not arise for the User in the case of a change of a formal nature, correction of obvious errors, a change of contact details or a change enforced by a legal regulation without a substantial impact on the User, nor in the case of the introduction of new services or functions that do not affect the User’s rights and obligations until the User activates them. The valid and effective version of the Connect Terms is always published on the Operator’s website. If the User continues to use the Prusa Connect service after the effective date of the change, the User shall be deemed to have accepted the change.

**10.3.** The invalidity or ineffectiveness of any provision of these Connect Terms shall in no way prejudice the validity and effectiveness of the other provisions.

**10.4.** This version of the Connect Terms becomes effective on 01.10.2026 and from that day applies to all Users who begin to use the Prusa Connect, Prusa Connect Farm or another service governed herein, or order it after that day. In relation to Users who used the Prusa Connect service already before the effective date of this version, the changes compared to the previous version become effective upon the expiry of 30 days from the day of their notification pursuant to Article 10.2 on changes to the terms; until then, their relationship is governed by the existing version of the Connect Terms. The provisions relating to the Prusa Connect Farm service and other newly introduced services or functions apply to an existing User from the moment the User activates or orders the relevant service or function; the mere inclusion of these provisions in the Connect Terms does not change the rights and obligations of an existing User.
